This product was developed with the focus on the hard rubber thumb rest, that was originally adopted on the Selmer Mark 6 model in the 1954 initial production line, and is said to have had some kind of positive effect on its thick dark tone. The hard rubber even adopted to screws, prevents the vibration from getting interrupted and brings out an attractive mild tone, smooth acoustics with gentle harmonics blended in.

※For attachment/ detachment work, please contact the local instrument shop.
※Some extra work may be required depending on the manufactured period of the instrument.
※The original thumb rest which is initially on the instrument is usually glued on. It may lead to scratches/ damages if you try to remove it forcefully.
※Hard rubber is used not only for the main body of the thumb rest but also for the screw to fix it on. It is very delicate, and requires extra care when handling.
※When adjusting the screw make sure to use a flathead screwdriver with the exact size of the screw.
